Kadet Invite at Air Academy High School

The Bus is Drop Off Only and will leave Doherty at 1:30.  Athletes need to have their own ride home.

Race Times:

3:30 pm ‐ Boys Division I

4:10 pm – Girls Division I

4:50 pm – Boys Division II

5:30 pm – Girls Division II

6:15 pm – AWARDS PRESENTATION for all divisions

1.        Remind EVERYONE that they are entering a closed military installation and their access is restricted to the most direct path to and from the high school, and the high school grounds.  2.      

2.        All visitors MUST enter the USAFA via the SOUTH GATE (exit #150). No exceptions

3.       Upon arrival to the security checkpoint the driver of the vehicle must:

a.       State the name of the contest in which they will be attending (i.e. XC invitational)

b.      Provide the security person with their current driver’s license (they could also be asked to provide current vehicle registration and/or current proof of insurance so all must be valid). 

c.    Everyone is subject to search when entering this federal installation and security personnel will likely ask to open the trunk of the car and/or perform a cursory check of the interior of the vehicle. You have every right to refuse such an inspection, but will not be allowed to enter if you do so.  Drugs (to include medical marijuana), weapons, ammunition and explosives are not allowed at AAHS events, so please do not bring them with you or ask security personnel to store them for you while you are at the event.
